Description

Mindful walking means walking while being aware of each step and our breath. It can be practiced anywhere, whether alone in nature or with others in a crowded city. Remember, Walking meditation is a way to practice moving without a goal or intention. This combination of meditating and walking can have both emotional and physical benefits. Walking meditation lowers stress, reduces anxiety, improves sleep, makes exercise more enjoyable, increases focus & concentration, slows you down, helps you get to know your body, great for mental health, helps you connect with nature, lowers blood pressure, expands everyday mindfulness, helps you stay in the present moment, and many other health perks. Mindfulness Walking Meditation is an easier way to quieten the mind compared to sitting in one place meditating. When your mind wanders, you can bring it back to the sensations of your feet touching the ground. Just like with any meditation, it’s always easy to get distracted.

As always, your support is appreciated, and your questions and suggestions are welcome.
--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/effortlessmeditation/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/effortlessmeditation/support
