Mike Turner interview

<p>Tonight’s guest is songwriter and poet Mike Turner. Mike presently resides in Alabama however he was born and raised in Michigan and was a college graduate at Michigan State with a degree in criminal justice. Mike worked 27 years as a civilian special agent for the Department of Defense and for the U.S. Customs and Immigration and, later as a director for the Department of Commerce.</p> <p>In 2012 Mike took up songwriting as a lark and has composed 160 songs (blues, folk, country, r &amp; b and pop) which have been streamed and can be heard in the U.S., Europe, Australia, and the Armed Forces Network.</p> <p>In 2019 Mike Turner took up poetry and has written 200 poems which have been published in numerous print and on-line journals.</p>
