We strongly suggest a broadcast future for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu7U_MIo6S4">Joey Votto</a> when he’s ready for a career change. International baseball is coming to us! In November, Citi Field will welcome <a href="https://worldbaseball.com/report-tigres-del-licey-aguilas-cibaenas-will-play-three-games-at-citifield-in-november/">LIDOM’s Aguilas Cibaeñas vs. Tigres de Licey</a> for three games, and Miami will host the <a href="https://www.mlb.com/marlins/ballpark/events/caribbean-series-2024">Serie del Caribe</a> in February.  Plenty of time to request leave. <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2023/07/26/rob-manfred-mlb-commissioner-contract-extension/">Rob Manfred</a> is never leaving – teams voted to extend his contract as commissioner until 2029.
