We talked to Chad all about the Mid-Atlantic Beard & Stache Championships going on this weekend. This event is going to be held in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday April 24th at the Canal Club. This year, the club decided to help the charity Shine for Scott- www.shineforscott.org SHINE FOR SCOTT was founded in late 2010 following the death of the organization’s namesake, Scott Walden. Scott passed away from colon cancer on June 3, 2010, eighteen months after his initial diagnosis. He was just 40 years old. Today, in Scott’s honor, Shine For Scott is here to: provide financial SUPPORT to patients; EDUCATE the public; help individuals DETECT colon cancer through life saving screenings; and one day, CURE colorectal cancer by funding top of the line and progressive research.
