Micro Queers: Huesera: The Bone Woman (2022)

<p>We're cracking our knuckles in anticipation of Michelle Garza Cervera's feature debut <em>Huesera: The Bone Woman </em>(2022), which tackles pregnancy and post-partum in ways that are comparable to <em>The Babadook </em>and <em>Hypochondriac</em>.</p><p>Featuring a stunning lead performance by newcomer Natalia Solián, <em>Huesera</em> has great foley work, some good jump scares, and lots to say about queerness and motherhood. </p><p>Plus: a different kind of fridging scene and an ending that we want to hear from parents about</p><p>Questions?
