Queen's Nurse Heather is an entrepreneur, poet, social innovator and health policy influencer. Heather practises a social model of public health, inventing and co-producing solutions with local people. Based on her own severe asthma as a child, her latest innovation is BreathChamps (@BreathChamps): Where children families and communities learn about breathing in fun ways. In 2018 she won the Sue Pembrey Award for person and community centred care. In 2016 Heather received the Open University Business School Alumnus Award for her 'Outstanding Contribution to Society'.
