This week Vanessa Gilmartin and Nicky Lambert spoke with guest Dr Rob Baskind about ADHD and the criminal justice system. RB - Dr Rob Baskind is a Consultant Psychiatrist and specialist in adult ADHD with a wealth of experience in criminal justice. He was the prison psychiatrist for Leeds Prisons, HMP Leeds and HMP Wealstun, for 8 years from 2008. He developed and was clinical lead of an NHS Adult ADHD service in Leeds for 10 years. Rob has spoken at local and national events on ADHD and prisons and presented to the Northern Ireland Assembly on this topic. He has previously developed pathways in prison and probation services for screening, assessment and management of ADHD Rob left the NHS in June 2022 and now works in private practice, training and consultancy.
