Meditation: Time To Fall
Nancy Mbani
Description

Do you remember when you were a leaf? Let us join the free fall colors of the season and practice what nature is so rhythmically good at.

Letting Go.

The beloved classic band, the Beatles, famously sang a mantra I wear around my wrist, ”Let it be.” Let it be.

If you are on the path of seeking joy, this only can be with the cooperation of releasing the weights you no longer want to carry.

In Response to The all too distracting world – if we are mindful, we can be re-directed inward.

As we observe, we let it all be, and we turn inside to check in on our barometers, mindfully.

Physically, mentally and spiritually.

It may take all your will to get away to the woods, or into nature.

Consider what is happening in our world,

and consider what a freedom it is to walk for an hour outdoors,

honoring and acknowledging your thoughts and feelings.

Rumi wrote; some 900 years ago:

The news we hear is full of grief for that future,

but the real news

inside here,

is that there’s no news at all.

Our attention leads to our intention.

We always are free to decide what and who to listen to, and nature is still there – it re-connects us with the bliss and the wisdom of silent attention.

So now, let us fall.

(Molly Jo Triplett is a photographer, certified mindfulness meditation teacher, nature lover & poet.
