<p>If you're new to Medicare, the first thing you need to know is that you have 2 main ways to get your Medicare coverage - Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) and Medicare Advantage - Part C.</p> <p>If you're close to age 65, but not getting Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board benefits, you'll need to sign up for Medicare. Contact Social Security 3 months before you turn 65.
