Matthew: John The Baptist - Michael Coltman

This week Michael Coltman kicks off our sermon series in the gospel of Matthew, starting in Matthew 3:1-12 with John the Baptist. Looking at this famous moment at the river Jordan, John is calling all of Isreal to come and repent, making their heart ready for the coming messiah. We see many people coming from all over Isreal in response, fulfilling the words of the prophet Isaiah. However not everyone responds the way that God is calling them to. In this sermon Michael asks the question of, who do you most relate to? Responding with an open heart, or with a closed one?
