Matthew 17:1-9 - Jesus, Only

Jesus had just predicted his suffering, death, and resurrection to his disciples. They had to have been stunned. For 6 days, they stewed over that information. Then Jesus took 3 of his disciples up a mountain to pray. There he was transfigured before them. They saw his full glory. Yet, even in his glory - his eyes were fixed on his work, on his cross.
