Martin Dean interview-80th anniversary of the 1941 Babyn Yar massacre

<p>Tonight, I will be interviewing Martin Dean, historical consultant for the as of yet unopened Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center located in Kiev in the Ukraine.</p> <p>The Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center is dedicated to the study and commemoration of the greatest mass shooting by the Nazi Einsatzgruppen during World War Two.</p> <p>Exactly 80 years ago today on September 28, 1941, Nazi German Einsatzgruppen and other units executed approximately 30,000 individuals (mostly Ukrainian Jews) at the Babyn Yar ravine. In the two years that followed thousands more innocent people were massacred there as well.</p> <p>Martin Dean will discuss his role in the formation and future opening of the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center.</p>
