Martin Conway And Anne Rabbitte Speaking In The Seanad About Dialysis Unit In Ennis

The Minister of State at the Department Of Health says the HSE already have a blueprint to establish a satelitte dialysis unit in Ennis. The issue was raised in the Seanad this week by Ennistymon-based Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway who spoke of the number of patients in West and North Clare who face lengthy journeys to access renal care in Limerick. Currently dialysis is available at University Hospital Limerick and a satelitte centre on the dock road in the city centre. Junior Health Minister, Anne Rabbitte, insists a timeline for delivery is now required.
