Market Close 21 July 23: A dull end to the week

<p>It was a bitter end to the week with the market closing down by 0.15%. 5 of the 11 sectors finished higher, energy was the best performer while tech took a hit, lowering 2.73%. Coronado Resources lifted after its earnings results. But Newcrest fell on the back of disappointing earnings results from its US takeover bidder Newmont. Ahead next week, inflation data will be in focus in Australia.
