Mark is the lead pastor of National Community Church, the largest church in the Washington DC area. He is also the author of twenty-two books, most recently Do it for a Day and the Win the Day journal which helps people to build healthy habits and lose the ones that are no longer working. When Mark was chosen to lead the National Community Church in 1996 the church had just nineteen members. Since then, the church has expanded into a congregation of thousands of people operating from around twenty locations. The NCC also owns and operates Ebenezers Coffeehouse, the largest coffeehouse in DC, The Miracle Theatre, and the DC Dream Center.    In this episode, we’ll learn what it’s like to be a social entrepreneur and run a business supporting a cause.
