Man, two sons killed in Anambra building collapse

<p>A builder identified as Chizoba Aniefuna and his two sons have lost their lives following the collapse of a one-storey building in Egbu Umuenem, Otolo Nnewi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.</p>, <p>One of the relatives of the builder, who was also trapped in the building, was rescued and rushed to St. Felix Hospital, Nnewi.</p>, <p>Reacting to the unfortunate incident, Anambra State Chairman of Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, Engr. Victor Meju stated that the poor quality of materials and non-approval from relevant regulatory authorities led to the avoidable tragedy.</p>, <p>He noted that Chukwunafu Anamanjo, the owner of the building, will be invited for questioning to aid in the investigation as he ordered the seal-off of the collapse site.</p>
