<p>A man has been arrested in Adamawa State while riding a tricycle he allegedly stole.</p>, <p>The state police command, which disclosed this on Thursday, explained that the man, Abba Suleiman, was picked up by police operatives attached to Song Division who were on a confidence building patrol along Bariki Sajo-Song.</p>, <p>The statement, signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, said the 27-year-old Abba is a resident of Gombi, in Gombi Local Government Area north of the state capital, Yola.</p>, <p>The statement said Abba was on his way to hand over the stolen tricycle to a receiver in Jimeta, the administrative and commercial district which together with Yola Town constitute the Yola capital city.</p>, <p>The police statement advised anyone whose tricycle was stolen to contact the Divisional Police Headquarters in Song, near Gombi.</p>, <p>DAILY POST reports that tricycle or Keke NAPEP as is more popularly called, is the commonest means of commercial transportation across Adamawa State.</p>, <p>It is the only form of taxi within the major towns such as Yola, Mubi, and Numan; as well as the means of movement between towns not far apart; while cars, mostly Corolla Starlet models, are used as inter-city commercial vehicles on longer routes such as Yola-Mubi, Yola-Ganye, Yola-Numan, and the like.</p>
