Dec. 29, 2021 - Assemblymember Carrie Woerner, a Capital Region Democrat, makes the case for her legislation removing regulatory burdens and costs for internet service providers trying to utilize existing utility poles, which could ensure more rural areas can access high-speed internet. The bill was signed before Christmas, but with a request for some changes from Gov. Kathy Hochul, which we'll explain. (Originally aired in June 2021)
