MacDara Ó Conaola Previews Week Two Seachtain Na Gaeilge Upcoming Events

On Monday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by MacDara Ó Conaola who is an Irish Language Officer for An Clár as Gaeilge. MacDara discussed Seachtain na Gaeilge that is ongoing and will run until Friday 17th of March. He mentioned the success of this years festival which is organised by Conradh na Gaeige. He described the positivity and excitement surrounding recent events that have taken place to mark the festival. MacDara complimented the ability of the primary school school children of Clare and their efforts to speak Irish throughout Seachtain Na Gaeilge. He also previewed some of the upcoming events that will mark the finish of the Irish Language Festival for 2023.
