Love Is . . .

Love IS . . . KIND . . . Considerate and thoughtful,  always thinking about  significant little things.  Preparing the way  as if knowing every detail  making it smooth. Affectionate and gracious  like an attentive waiter. Soft, tender-hearted,  gentle and consistent  without favoritism.  Wearing a smiling invitation  which relaxes  yet beacons your heart  . . . To Trust.  Reflection  Kindness is another attribute which Love exhibits all the time and humanity usually recognizes this represented in any image of a doting Grandmother. Probably that's why she is called a Grand - mother :)) When she knows you are going to visit, she prepares your favorite cookies and cakes or anything she knows you Love! There is always something in the tins to enjoy. Kindness is always attentive and courteously wants to serve your needs. When meeting kindness one almost feels obligated to receive from its vast treasuries of tactile care. No matter what state a person is in when meeting kindness, there is the sense of no matter what your state is, when you are greeted, it's overlooked. Life is a conundrum of experiences which unfortunately equip us to fight for our place in society rather than serve with our gifts and talents. The security we seek is found within our heart in who we KNOW we are. Kindness serves with awareness and has the ability to discern needs and where possible provide them or direct them to the source.  In Joshua 2, there is an amazing story of Rahab who showed kindness to the scouts and cared for them. She knew who these 2 men were and asked for her kindness to be returned which saved her household.
