Love is Living 5

<p>Friday 26 February&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A lovely Friday to you in the name of Jesus, we thank God for today. The bible says this is the day the Lord had made, we will rejoice and be glad in it, so I pray in the name of Jesus, today will be a day of rejoicing, a day of gladness, may the joy of the Lord be your strength in Jesus name.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We’re still talking about love and about the fact that love is living. What we mean by that is that the power of love is not unleashed or experienced until we live it out of love. We must live in such a way that the love of God flows out from us to benefit other people. And one of the ways we live out love is by&nbsp;living a life of sacrifice, love is sacrificing.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Anywhere you see true love, there is always that element of sacrifice. What does sacrifice mean? It is going above and beyond the call of duty, not by compulsion but because of the love that you have for this person, organization, or for your nation. Everybody may be doing just what is expected of them and probably stopping at level 5 but because of your love for your organization, you push yourself, deny yourself some pleasure and take your work up to level 10, that’s what we mean by love is sacrificing.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>There’s the story of these lovely ladies in the book of Ruth, Naomi, Orpah, and Ruth. Things happened and Naomi had lost her husband and two sons who were married to Orpah and Ruth. Things had become tough so Naomi decided to return to Bethlehem her home country. Her daughters-in-law also decided to follow her back. She did everything to discourage them but they persisted, she told them of the bleak future ahead of her and made them understand that there was no guarantee of getting a husband in Bethlehem. Finally, Orpah went back but Ruth remained resolute on her stand to stay with her mother-in-law.</p> <p>Ruth's determination was so strong that she said to her mother in law “I know that all you have said is true, there’s nothing waiting for you back
