<p>The word, “friend” is often used mistakenly to refer to someone who spends time with us. However, a true friend is like a rare gem; he or she is hard to find and is priceless. What distinguishes the difference between a friend and an acquaintance is how that person responds to our trouble. It is easy for people to hang around during pleasant and/or easy times, but enduring friendship requires sacrifice, forgiveness, longsuffering, and most importantly, unconditional love. A person can know hundreds of people but can count on one hand his or her true friends.
