Local Selection 132: Fiveseven

Today we reach #132 of our Local Selection series, which continues to go from strength to strength as we feature a new Local Selector every week. It's fair to say this little island is full of talent and this week is no different. Fiveseven is a Dublin-based queer techno goddess who's been making waves as both a contributor and resident DJ at the Grace Club parties. She bases her sound around pulsating, hypnotic melodies and rhythmic sequences, which are relentless yet boucey and ravey. Her sound is influenced by being closely involved as a club-goer and collaborator in queer techno and sex-positive club cultures. She has mostly played around Ireland, and Berlin with members of sex-positive and queer collectives such as Herrensauna, Mina and Dump. We've come across her mixes over the last few months and knew her take on techno would be something our listeners would really appreciate.
