Penny never thought in her wildest dreams, that someday she would write and independently publish<br />two novels. Her mother’s life story is the reason she moved forward on this venture. Mental Illness took<br />her grandmothers life when Penny’s Mom (Violet) was on the verge of thirteen years of age. Violet wore<br />a mask to hide the pain in her heart for many years, but emotional madness got the best of her. A<br />nervous breakdown brought her to rock bottom. God grabbed Violet out of the pit. Penny’s mother<br />prayed fervently that mental issues would never bring her daughter down. Penny’s Christian faith brings<br />security, contentment, and peace. Mental Health is a real, everyday facet of life. Although, not educated<br />in this field, Penny is an advocate for the emotionally challenged. Penny’s love for horses helps her<br />channel through emotional mood swings that still try to get a grip on her life. A favorite quote: “God<br />didn’t create any junk.”
