It expresses the idea that all should be able to live their (ungodly sinful) lives in the manner they want to, regardless of what others may think of them. This worldly deceiving "proverb" says in essence: "You should tolerate the opinions (i.e., politics & religion) and behaviors of others, so that they will similarly tolerate your own!" "Whether or not you condone their behavior, you're not going to judge anyone...you don't necessarily agree with them, but you won't bash either!" Folks, this is code word for: We should be tolerant of each other's sinful wicked behavior and not condemn nor condone one another. You live life on your terms, and I'll live life on my terms! You don't judge me and I won't judge you! What you do, may not necessarily float my boat, and what I do, may not necessarily float your boat, but at the end of the day, Live and let live! Don't judge me and I won't judge you, and we could live life in this sinful wicked Christ-rejecting, God-denying world in peace together, without stepping on each other's toes!
