Book a 1:1 session https://kyrakares.com/contact#book-appointment (here) with Kyra to help you overcome any challenges on your parenting journey! - كيف أكتشف أنّ طفلي متأخّر في كلامه؟ سؤال شائع بين أهل الأطفال الذين هم في أعوامهم الأولى خاصة وأنّ المحيط يثير أحياناً (لا بل في معظم الأحيان) قلق الأهل من خلال التعليقات ومقارنة الأطفال بأقرانهم. لذا سأقوم أوّلاً بطرح الأسباب التي تؤدي الى تأخّر الكلام ثمّ سأعرض الإشارات التي على الأهل التنبّه إليها والتي تدلّ إلى تأخّر في تطوّر اللغة والكلام. ينبغي التنويه هنا إلى أنّ الأطفال يتطوّرون بشكل مختلف عن بعضهم البعض؛ لن يكتسبوا المهارات في مجالات التطوّر المختلفة بنفس الطريقة وبنفس السرعة بأقرانهم. علينا معرفة أنّ كل طفل مميّز بطرق عدّة، فلنحترم إذا ميّزاته :) Is my child delayed in his speech and language development? The most common concern amongst parents of young children especially when they constantly hear the environment comments on their child’s development in addition to comparing him/her with their peers. That’s why I will start by discussing the reasons behind the language delays in children as well as the red flags each parent should look for with regards to his child’s communication skills development. Finally, I kindly ask you to keep in mind that children develop differently; they won’t reach their milestones at the same pace and in all domains.
