Les Schultz on fair deal for First Nations people and equity in green energy transition

“We are seeing our cultural heritage sites and our homeland as high value. We want to get the best deal, the best opportunity for our people to continue to grow generationally. Projects are known to stay in the area for 50 plus years. That is a lot of land that we have to give up as a sacrifice. We don’t want that to be an expectation from government or the green energy business sector.
