<p>Legislative Council Series In this new series, we are looking at proceedings of meetings of the Legislative Council as concerns&nbsp;Lagos Colony&nbsp;and&nbsp;Nigeria. Part of these episodes will include ordinances, proclamations, bye-laws; and meetings of the&nbsp;Board of Education,&nbsp;Municipal Board of Health&nbsp;&amp;c.</p><br><p>This episode looks at the proceedings of the&nbsp;9th and 14th of October, 1893&nbsp;held at Government House, Lagos which includes attendance&nbsp;of H. E. The Acting Governor,&nbsp;Sir&nbsp;George Chardin Denton,&nbsp;K. C. M. G., C.B.;&nbsp;His Honor&nbsp;the&nbsp;Acting Chief Justice,&nbsp;E. H. Richards,&nbsp;Hons.&nbsp;Charles Joseph George,&nbsp;Rev.&nbsp;James Johnson; Treasurer H. M. B. Griffith,&nbsp;T. Welsh &amp;c.</p><br><p>Discussions included John Augustus Otonba Payne's Almanack and distribution amongst members, Rev.
