Lean on ME!

Today let’s talk about two types of people in our lives... <br /><br />My daily reflection I read today was about “because they care” they are people in our life that actually care and want to listen. They give us a shoulder and ear to lean on and listen to our pain or suffering without feedback. <br /><br />Then there’s the other friend “when it’s convenient” they show up to downplay what’s going on in our life saying phrases such as - this shall pass - just get over it -let it go -don’t cry over spilled milk -you’ll survive <br />rather than listening they have to give their opinions what they think you should do. <br /><br />I know for me personally if there’s times I want to talk , vent or share my feelings of what’s going on in my life I don’t want to be told what I should do. I just want to talk and have someone just listen. <br /><br />I’m sure you can relate. There are those times or moments in our life that we just want to be heard. <br /><br />I’ve been there both sides and the person that’s listened and I’ve been the person that share those phrases... <br /><br /> I’m sure we’ve all been on both sides. Honesty I think sometimes we don’t know what to do when we hear someone express or share pain or hurt... <br /><br />all we can do is be that person for others to lean on, listen and show support “because we care” and not be there “when it’s convenient”!
