This may be found in Part I of the book, "Light of the World."</li><li>Important note: When it comes to true Christians, we must distinguish mission and purpose.<ul><li>Our <i>purpose</i> is to know God, to enter into and enjoy an eternal relationship with Him. We are to love him with all our heart (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37). Purpose should not be confused with mission. (When this happens, the confusion will distort our spiritual lives.)</li><li>Our <i>mission</i> is to bring God to the world: to serve the poor (Matthew 25) and to preach the word (Matthew 28).
