Lawmakers want to require overdose reversal medication with opioid scripts

July 27, 2021 - In response to the opioid epidemic, Senate Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Committee Chair Pete Harckham, a Westchester County Democrat, is pushing legislation that would require doctors to prescribe an opioid antagonist to patients who are getting an opioid prescription.
