<p>A new plan from Boston Public Schools to integrate students who are English language learners into general education classrooms has led to <a href="https://www.wgbh.org/news/education-news/2023-11-01/boston-schools-task-force-members-resign-over-new-plan-for-english-learners" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">multiple resignations</a> on BPS' English Learners Task Force.</p> <p>Plus, compared to much of the country, Massachusetts has a low poverty rate.
