Last Surviving Laichtín Ceili Band Member Shares Memories of Willie Clancy

On Thursday's Morning Focus Alan was joined by Christy Dixon, an 86 years old Mullagh native now residing in Dublin, the last surviving member of the Laichtín Ceili Band. Christy spoke about how legendary musician, Willie Clancy was a member of the band which took its name from a holy well lying on the border between Mullagh and Miltown. The group consisted of members of the local community and neighbouring parishes and Christy fondly recalled times gone by.
