In other words, the language we use defines us. </p> <p>Norm is then joined by Shelton Tucker to discuss the Southern Poverty Law Center's recently published study showing a burgeoning belief that the United States is headed toward civil war. Why this national preening for chaos? Are we addicted to the rage within us?</p> <p>Shelton is formerly a client of Norm's and a great friend. Norm and Shelton talk about how Americans find community and how we as a nation can reach across the color lines. Norm admits that his relationships have been strained in his search to discover what has gone wrong in our world. </p> <p>Are race relations getting worse? Better?
