(Wednesday)<br /> <br /> News Briefing: Daily new COVID-19 cases have exceeded four-thousand for the first time in South Korea since the pandemic began. 4,115 cases were reported on Wednesday, compiled throughout the previous day. The number of critically ill patients hit a record high of 586. In response, the government began to consider taking emergency action to suspend the transition into living with COVID-19 in the capital region.
