Kogi guber poll: NSCDC to deploy 3,000 operatives

<p>Three thousand personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kogi State Command, will be deployed to provide security during the November 11 governorship election.</p>, <p>The state commandant, Ahmad Gandi, disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday in Lokoja.</p>, <p>He said, “The Command has concluded plans to give adequate coverage and no stone will be left unturned to ensure that the election is hitch-free.”</p>, <p>Gandi added that, since he assumed duty in the state, he has been able to prosecute 24 cases and secure over 90 per cent convictions.</p>
