(1926-2020) Knowing God. #Tribute # preface and Forward of the book# Part 1 chapter 1. I personally knew JI packer from reading his book in the first semester of my undergraduate seminary studies. The book gave me a sense of wonder as I was revived to see the scripture wonder. Theologians are called to be the church’s water engineers and sewage officers; it is their job to see that God’s pure truth flows abundantly where it is needed, and to filter out any intrusive pollution that might damage health.
