Knowing Christ Jesus Resurrection Sunday

<p><strong>SERMON OUTLINE (12/04/20)</strong></p> <p><strong>Knowing Christ Jesus: Philippians 3: 7-11</strong></p> <p>1. The Introduction: Do we really know Christ Jesus: to the point that we are trusting in Him?</p> <p>1.1 Big Idea: To glean two things from Philippians ch3 vv7-11 that Paul gives us that we must do to help us in knowing Christ Jesus (7-11)</p> <p>2 The first thing is negative – we must stop trusting in ourselves (7-9)</p> <p>3. The second thing is positive – we must know Christ (10-11)</p> <p>4. Conclusion: the exhortation: These two things that we have learned from Philippians ch3 vv7-11; gleaned from Paul that we must do to help us in knowing Christ Jesus – will we do them to help us in knowing Christ Jesus (7-11)</p> <p><strong>Reflection: </strong>For you is there a difference between knowing about Christ Jesus and knowing Christ Jesus? Do you really know Christ Jesus: to the point that you are trusting in Him alone? If you are trusting in yourself; will you stop and instead trust in Christ Jesus? Will you read your Bible to get to really know Christ Jesus to trust in Him alone – will you do this?
