Kirsten Murphy Rossiter

Welcome back to Season 3 of I Hope I Get It the podcast where we share our stories from the audition room. In the first episode of Season 3 host Actress Tarryn Steyn is joined by South African Actress, Singer and Dancer Kirsten Murphy Rossiter. Born and raised in the beautiful city of Cape Town, Kirsten trained at The Waterfront Theatre College for 4 years. In 2010, fresh out of theatre school Kirsten landed one of her dream roles playing Marty (U/S Sandy) in Grease the musical, touring New Zealand and Hong Kong and SA. Most recently Kirsten performed the role of Claire in Ordinary Days produced by Square Pegged Productions, a production company that she started with two friends. Previous stage credits include three seasons of The Fugard Theatre’s production of West Side Story . Kirsten was cast in David Kramer’s production of Some Like it Vrot. Tinkerbell in Peter Pan.. She played Francine in the Jersey Boys touring company which toured SA, Singapore, Istanbul and Kuala Lumpur. Kirsten recently played the character Fit Bitch in the South African tv series Tali’s Baby Diary. When Kirsten is not performing she runs her own business called Kirsten Murphy Makeup and works as a makeup artist and hairstylist.
