<p>Kiri Waititi was a clinical psychiatrist for 6 years and devoted a lot of her time to studying mental health but always felt torn between her identity as Māori and what she was doing. However through further studies she found a body of research that informed her that not only 80% of therapeutic success is within people themselves but that a further 95% is within being Māori and only 5% comes down to models.
