Kilrush Marine Protection Event Is Urging Government To Meet Their Coastal Targets

A Kilrush marine protection event is highlighting the need for government to reach their coastal water protection targets. Fair Seas, a campaign group that has organised the event, has expressed disappointment at the lack of progress on legislation to protect 30% of waters around Ireland. The free event takes place from 6pm next Friday, August 4th at the Shannon Dolphin Centre in Merchants Quay, Kilrush. Communications Officer at Fair Seas and former Feakle resident, Jack O’Donovan Trá, says it's important that the government tackle this issue effectively.
