Keep Your Zeal for the Lord

<p> </p> <p><strong>Romans 10:2 - For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>For those who have been Catholic or worshiped in a denomination that related to - you know this is the Lenten Season.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> It’s 40 days before easter.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> Starts right after the orgy and bacchanalia which is Mardi Gras - ending on Fat Tuesday.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> All man made stuff.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p> </p> <p>40 days- ceremonious stuff -giving up stuff, man made rules<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p> </p> <p>I have learned that sometimes having too much information gives you a paralysis of analysis.</p> <p> </p> <p>You don’t know who to trust.</p> <p> </p> <p>You latch on to things that you like and can understand, YouTube videos, speakers, IG people, and you integrate that into your faith.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> But it is not biblical, it is not sound doctrine.</p> <p>I heard that…</p> <ul> <li>This guy on tik Tok said…</li> <li>I don’t have to go to church because…</li> <li>I don’t have to support a ministry because they are all crooks, you heard that ministry trying to get a plane?</li> <li>God knows my heart…</li> </ul> <p>The devil lives for our passion, our burn out, our losses …<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p> </p> <p>When we start new things, our faith walk included -join a new church,<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> many were eager to learn, respond, and volunteer. Over time, however, eagerness waned. They lost their zeal.</p> <p> </p> <p>What is Spiritual Zeal?</p> <p>Spiritually speaking, at the beginning of our relationship with the LORD, we were eager, too. Our hearts were challenged and changed; we mourned over our wrongs, immediately sought forgiveness from God, and changed our ways.</p> <p>We felt clean! We were excited! We wanted to pray, witness, r
