KCLR LIVE: St Luke's sees highest number of patients presenting with Covid

Michael Conway, Consultant Cardiologist at St. Luke’s Hospital advises listeners to avoid presenting at the hospital if they are experiencing Covid 19 symptoms. This follows news that yesterday saw St Luke's admit one of the country's highest number of patients with Covid-19. While the numbers are high, he says that the trend seems to be positive with the current Omicron strain being far more infectious but causing less severe illness than previous strains.
