Joy Keys chats with Actress Khadijah Karriem and Director Arthur Muhammad

Ms. Karriem has guest starred in such shows as NYPD Blue, The Practice, Lincoln Heights, Arliss, Any Day Now, to name a few. Her feature film credits include Redemption, The Perfect Wife and Kissed by the Devil, where she starred.  Recession Proof is just one of her many scripts she has written. Now, she looks forward to adding executive producer to her list of credits. Arthur Muhammad, award-winning screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer of the 2015 release, “Carter High” (Charles Dutton, Vivica Fox, Pooch Hall, David Banner), has a keen eye, cinematic hands, and a patent gift for storytelling; the three key ingredients for developing ranking entertainment. C’Ya claimed dual wins as Best Film in the Dallas Black Film, and 21st Annual Scottsdale Film Festivals. Currently he’s signed on to direct “Behind the Mask”, a documentary on mental health with best-selling author and documentarian, N’Tyse. (Beneath My Skin).
