An additional three and a half million euro in funding is being to be made available for improvements to the road network in Clare this year. A special meeting of the Ennis Municipal District has heard that the total allocation for Clare County Council for routes in the banner will be just over 52 million euro in 2023. €1.8 million is to be spent on an active travel project on the Tulla Road in Ennis, which will result in the provision of 12 bus stops. Ennis Fine Gael Councillor Johnny Flynn says submissions can be made on the project until Friday.
