Johnny Depp wins defamation case against Amber Heard, ex-wife to pay him $15m

<p>American movie star, Johnny Depp, has won the defamation case against his former wife, Amber Heard.</p>, <p>This brings to an end the six-week court case.</p>, <p>The jury has awarded Depp $15m in damages.</p>, <p>Heard has also won part of her libel case against Depp over articles, in which her claims of domestic abuse were described as a hoax.</p>, <p>The jury has awarded Heard $2m in damages.</p>, <p>The seven-person jury on Wednesday, deliberated for 12 hours after being sent out to consider their verdicts on Friday.</p>, <p>The verdict was met with screams outside the court and chants of “Johnny, Johnny, Johnny”.</p>
