Jesus will FORGIVE but you must REPENT! Who Are We to Question God??

In order to receive the free gift of salvation by grace through faith, one must REPENT! There must be a change of mind that will lead to a change in one's sinful lifestyle of living, actually regretting it! No one is excluded from Jesus’ demand to repent. He made this clear when a group of people came to Him with news of two calamities. Innocent people had been killed by Pilate’s massacre and by the fall of the tower of Siloam (Luke 13:1-4). Jesus took the occasion to warn even the bearers of the news: “I tell you, no; but unless you repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways and live changed lives], you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3, 5). What did He mean by perish? He meant that the Final Judgment of God would fall on those who don’t repent! After He had risen from the dead, Jesus made sure that His apostles (and us) would continue the call for repentance throughout the world. He said, “And so it is written, that the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and that repentance 👉🏾[necessary] for forgiveness of sins would be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:46-47). The Bible declares in Ephesians 1:4 that God in His love, "...chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight." Some argue that if He has chosen before the foundation of the world those who would be holy and blameless in His sight, why the need to repent?
