Jesus is Dancing and Singing Over You

Zephaniah 3:17 is the most amazing verse in Scripture, the Bible describes the deep and abiding love Christ has for us. O how hard it is in this generation to believe that Christ loves us; that Christ cares for us; that Christ treasures us and that Christ is concerned about EVERY detail of our lives. In the depth of our hearts we have failed to believe that Christ really loves us. Yet Zephaniah declares a breathtaking truth about Christ’s love. Rejoice over you” – literally means “dance, skip, leap, and spin around in joy.” Christ dances with shouts of joy over us! The Hebrew word means to “spin around under violent emotion,” or basically to dance. So Zephaniah 3:17 is more accurately translated as, “Christ in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His Love,He will dance over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
