JAJ Da Meccadon: A quick chat with one of Africa’s pioneering broadcasters

<p style="text-align:justify;">Jacob Akinyemi-Johnson, popularly known as JAJ DA MECCADON, is one of Africa’s most influential broadcasters.</p> <p style="text-align:justify;">He has been credited with launching the careers of many Nigerian artistes including 2face and Modenine, and is arguably your favorite Nigerian OAP's, favorite OAP. </p> <p style="text-align:justify;">He is Chief Creative Officer at Silverbird Group and host of the music countdown show, “Top 7 Jams at 7 with JAJ The Mecca Don”, which airs on Rhythm 93.7 FM.</p> <p style="text-align:justify;">We had a quick chat about the evolution of music countdown shows, growing as a voiceover artist and radio presenter, and career transitions.</p>
