June 30... It’s the tax (wo)man’s favourite time of year! And that means, it’s time to start thinking about your tax return. For many of the YIGC community who have only recently started investing, this will be the first year you’ll be required to declare income from investing. Tax can be a pretty complicated topic, but the good news is that the ATO already knows a fair amount about you and your investments! But we wouldn’t want to make it too easy… You’ll still need to be prepared to clarify some details and make sure everything that the ATO has on you is correct. Don’t fret! We have made the call to Emma Bowdler from the Women’s Accountant and will be taking all of your questions straight to the expert.

Keep track of Sophie and Maddy between the episodes on Instagram for behind the scenes shots and tidbits, and come and be part of the conversation on Facebook with our You’re In Good Company Discussion Group.
